Friday: Anime Song Contest at DoKomi 2025

Charming voices for the songs we love!

Karaoke has long been a cultural highlight from Japan and has been exported to all corners of the world for decades. Who doesn't love belting out their voice to their favorite song? "If it's good, it's good. If it's bad, it's better!" - Karaoke is just fun! The Anime Song Contest is entering its 6th round and we look forward to seeing all the singers!

By the way: Cosplay is welcome at the Karaoke Contest, but not a must.

Participation:

The karaoke competition takes place on Friday. There will be a preliminary round and a final. Songs from anime, the Vocaloid area and Japanese games are allowed. Singing will be done to full instrumental Japanese versions.

Pre-registration is done by email to karaoke@dokomi.de! For pre-registration we need your real name, your desired song, as well as the source of the lyrics and instrumental version. On-site registration is limited.

Preliminary round:

The preliminary round takes place on Friday in the karaoke room at 3 pm. Up to 16 people can take part.

Final:

The final will be presented on the "Hana no machi" stage at 6pm. The best 8 participants will sing there under the supervision of a prominent jury.

Saturday: Just for Fun karaoke competition at Dokomi 2025

There will also be a competition on Saturday.

All songs that we have in our song database are allowed, with the exception of the TV version of openings and endings.

Registration takes place on site in the karaoke room. The number of participants is determined by the team on site.
